It was okay. Not very eventful, but I love Bree with this new guy.

I watched and it just seemed like it was another murder related DH storyline rehash. The murder stuff is what kinda ruined this show for me, they relied on it as a plot device too much over the show's run.

I agree Rhi. It's also what drove me away from the show. It was such a quirky, different show in Season 1, and through loss of good characters and constant murder plots, and constant "season mysteries" (that are LAME and predictable), I've been driven away. I don't know what went wrong but something clearly did.

I think what happened in Season 2 was the show became just some standard soap. The comedy and zaniness in season 1 didn't continue and it became all about misery and their storylines were pretty real to life and I could relate to them. Their cleverness got better, but their storylines were not very easy to relate to.

Susan is ruining this whole episode for me. Why couldn't they kill her off?!?

Co-signed. Her usual nonsense was the low-light of the show.

I haven't been able to stand Susan for a long time. She's too stupid. She is like Rose from the Golden Girls aka the weak link in the show. OMG, Tom and Lynette are unbearable. She is a bitch and he is a whiner. Bree and Gaby are the best. Gaby was cracking me up when she was yelling at Susan and I still like Bree and this new guy.

Are they gonna hook Susan and Carlos up? I like Carlos and Gabby.

Susan is a hoe.

I don't get why all these peeps are stressed and guilt ridden over killing the child molestor.

Damn! I loved Bree and that one guy.

Not understanding the point of Susan's subplot with miguel ferrer/the art teacher.

Now you know -- it was a brilliant, character-driven catalyst to expose the ladies' dirty secret.
The show's great right now. I'm stunned to see NO discussion on this show.

What's to discuss? Maybe that Bree's story line is the only interesting one? Other then that I've got Nothing with a capital N.

I like your signature banner though fritosguy.

Thanks for the comment on the banner. One day, awhile ago, I just watched all these great stories Days used to have. Possession, Lady in a Cage, the Sami/Carrie/Austin triangle, and it got me thinking about what's really missing from the show right now: great characters we have but stories, we don't. I was excited about the reset and lurked for awhile there before actually giving my two cents about the show. Still excited, but wishing we had real stories.

Regarding DH: I love the character-driven drama and humor. I'm still entertained by it. Granted, I watch the show on the net and not on TV anymore, and it is usually "wind down" entertainment, before bed, but I still enjoy it.
About the stories: Who killed Detective Vance is pretty interesting. I don't like that we have a different daughter cast for Gabi's child, though. Gabi's hijinks always bring laughter. Susan's a mess but its' fun to watch. (Of course, she would be the idiot who would lead Vance on a hot track to the truth, through her art!) The show could be better, yes, but everyone seems to be in character, and that character is fueling the show. I just don't know why Bree didn't pair up with the dad from last season though. That would have been so hot!

I'm actually loving the final season!

I got back into DH a few months ago and caught up on the last three or four seasons. Now, I'm all caught up on this season.

I'm loving everything that's going on. I like how the mystery this season has to do with the girls and not a peripheral character.

Bree is such a slut! Watching right now... this is disgusting...
but the way she offered Cameron Mathison a muffin before he left her house after sex? CLASSIC!

Not OK with Gabby removing the virgin Mary painting in her living room with this extreme makeover. That's a sacred cow, to speak, for the Gabby and Carlos home.

I'm hating this season. The whole "secret death of blah" is boring. I prefer each character having their own subplots.

-Bree....she's being written OOC. No way in hell would she become a slut. Stupid as hell. (BTW, its okay to have a woman who is not over the top in the bed room department. Not everyone has to be a slut. Bree and that guy from last season were NOT hot). I kind of wish Rex would return from the dead and they would get back together.

-Gabi...I love her.

-Lynette...at least they are trying to tone her down. She's been unbearable for years.

-Susan...dumb and pointless as ever.

Somehow, I'm rolling with the Bree story. It seems out of character. But look at how upside down her life is.
I believe this story for some reason. It's a real game changer too. Bree, the town whore?! :cheer:

Renee SHOULD marry Ben. He proved his true intentions by telling her his ulterior motives and not letting her go down the aisle with him under false pretenses. This is true love, Renee! Plus, it's win-win! GO FOR IT!!!

This episode of DH was GOOD!

-I've always hated Julie with a passion. A Ms. Priss who was way too perfect. However, I loved the twist with Porter being the dad. I could probably actually like them as a couple because they seem more down to earth. I don't know why Julie just doesn't give Porter the baby. I would have no problem with it. I love the idea of Susan and Lynette battling it out over their grandbaby baby.

-I LOVED the twist with Orson being the crazy one ran over all those peeps and stalking Bree. I've always hated Orson and found him to be on the boring side. I hope they bring Rex back from the dead and reunite them.

-The Mrs. McClusky storyline is sad because the actress had cancer in real life.

I can't believe there are only seven more episodes until the series finale! :'( I'm gonna miss this show so much. I've always loved the crazy plots...so much fun!

Anyway, about this episode. I agree, LPS...I loved it, too! :D Crazy Orson is back. And I totally guessed that he knew all about Bree's life and what she and the girls had done when he kept trying to keep them away from each other, and as soon as he mentioned that he could drive again, I knew that he was behind the notes and that he was responsible for killing the detective. Crazy ass! What in the world does he have planned for her?

And LOL about the twist of Porter fathering Julie's baby. I totally didn't see that one coming, but I loved it. Lynette had the BEST dialogue in these scenes. All Porter knows how to eat are frozen waffles and only being interested if Julie gave birth to a video game. OMG! LMAO!! So hilarious! That was definitely the funniest stuff in this episode.

Heartbreaking stuff with Karen and Roy. :( I heard that a major character is supposed to die before this show goes off the air, and now I bet it's Karen with the news that her cancer has spread to her brain. So sad! It's going to be awful if she is the one who dies.
